Research

My interests are in the following areas: pharmacoepidemiology, cancer epidemiology, cardiovascular epidemiology, theoretical epidemiology, theory of clinical research.

My current research comprises the following projects:

1)     Development and validation of a lung cancer risk prediction model.
2)     The GENESIS PRAXY (PRemature Acute Coronary SYndrome) Study.
3)     Effect modification of gene-mediated susceptibility to myocardial infarction by sex and other conventional risk factors.

I am also collaborating with the following studies:
4) The NDIT (Nicotine Dependence in Teens) Study (PI: Dr. J.O’Loughlin)
5) The DOVE (Detecting OVarian cancer Earlier) Study (PI: Dr. L.Gilbert)
6) Exploring sex differences in the efficacy of cardioprotective medications: a series of meta-analyses
(PI: Dr. D.Rabi)
