Three members of Dr. Jack Siemiatycki’s team participated in organizing and presenting their work at the 11th Annual Symposium of the Student Association in Public Health at the Université de Montréal (AÉÉSPUM), February 9th, 2016. Mr. Romain Pasquet and Ms. Mengting Xu were part of the organizing team for the event. Ms. Shilpa Karumanchi gave an excellent presentation in this symposium and epidemiology was well represented. She was selected for an oral presentation and won the Jury Prize for her 3 minutes oral presentation.

A presentation of 3 minutes entitled: “Evaluation of risk of lung cancer in relation to residential exposure to ultrafine particles and nitrogen dioxide: Contribution to public health”. She received the Jury Prize for her presentation.
